Global Reach: The competition is open to coaches, solopreneurs, and changemakers worldwide whose English-language books were published in January 2024 or later, intentionally honoring "slow-burn, high-impact" books over fleeting viral metrics.

Who May Enter (Or Be Nominated)

Independent publishers, self-publishers, and independent authors may enter.
Authors may submit their own solo books directly via self-nomination.
For co-authored books and multi-author anthologies, submissions must be made directly by the publisher rather than individual contributing authors.
Peers, clients, publicists, and readers are highly encouraged to nominate their favorite authors.
Applicants may include those based in North America, Europe, and Australia producing books for an English-speaking audience.
The competition is specifically designed for nonfiction authors, coaches, consultants, and solopreneurs whose books drive transformation in life and business.
Submissions are accepted in eBook, but paperback or hardcover formats are preferred.

Who's This Perfect For

Publication Window: Books must carry an official publication date between 2024 and 2027 for Nominations.

Industry Standards: All entries must possess a valid ISBN (International Standard Book Number).

Format Inclusivity: Both print and eBooks are fully eligible and will be judged side-by-side within the same categories.

The work must be independently published, self-published, or produced via a hybrid/boutique press.

Books published by major traditional "Big 5" publishing houses are not eligible.

Books that have previously won or been nominated for other independent book awards are fully welcome.

Strict Nonfiction Focus:

Submissions must align strictly with our business, solopreneurship, and secular life-transformation categories. We do not accept fiction, poetry, cookbooks, planners or books focused primarily on clinical medicine, religious theology, political agendas, or personal finance.

AI Content & Integrity Policy:

We champion original thought leadership. While AI may be utilized for structural editing, proofreading, or outlining, fully AI-generated text or manuscripts lacking original human expertise are strictly ineligible and subject to disqualification.

How to enter my book for the Inkfluence Awards?

The Submission Process

Participating in the Inkfluence by Bookmas Awards 2027 is a streamlined online process.

You can submit your own work directly, or complete your setup after being nominated by your community.

Step 1: Complete the Online Registration

Direct Entry (Self-Nomination): Access our official portal, fill out the application form, select your category, and securely complete your entry fee payment via credit card.

Peer/Reader Nominations: If a peer or reader nominates you via our Google Form, our team will send you a notification email. To officially enter the running, you must follow the link in that email to accept the nomination, verify your book details, and finalize your registration.

Step 2: Submit Your Book Files

To facilitate a smooth review for our anonymous panel of 9 judges, all entrants must upload a digital version of their book (PDF or ePub format) during the online checkout process.

A physical copy of the book must be sent to Konnexions and Fab Collabs after a confirmation is received.

Step 3: Await Manual Confirmation

Human Review: Because we manually verify every ISBN and publication date to protect the integrity of the awards, please allow 3 to 5 business days for our team to process your application.

Success Email: Once verified, you will receive a formal "Check-In Confirmation" email.

Step 4: Stay in the Loop

After confirmation, you will be added to our official author communications list. You will receive real-time email updates regarding the launch of the public Reader's Choice voting portal, promotional graphics for your network, and shortlist announcements leading up to the January 2027 ceremony.

The 75/25 Scoring & Social Voting Split

To win an Inkfluence Award, an author must capture both the hearts of their audience and the respect of industry experts:

75% of the Score – The Reader’s Choice Portal: The crowd holds the ultimate power. Once the official shortlist is announced, a secure, public voting portal will open. Authors will have the opportunity to mobilize their networks, leverage their social proof, and gather community votes.

25% of the Score – The Expert Panel: The remaining portion of the score is determined by our committee's deep-dive evaluation based on structural execution and core concepts.

The Selection Panel

To maintain absolute integrity, our panel of 9 anonymous judges evaluates the expert portion of the ballot. This cross-industry committee is composed of established professionals in:

Independent publishing and bookselling.
Professional business coaching and executive mentorship.
Modern marketing, PR, and media strategy.
Our dedicated, category-specific award sponsors.

Finalists & Winners Structure

To maximize the compounding visibility for our top contenders, the structure for each of our 9 categories is designed as follows:

The Category Winner: One singular author will claim the ultimate title of Inkfluential Author of the Year for that category, taking home the grand prize package and top-tier media placements.

The Finalists: Up to three standout runners-up will be named official category finalists, earning dedicated promotional badges and community visibility spotlights ahead of the March 2027 virtual ceremony.
